Launching Low-Carbon Condominiums Across 7 Pilot Projects in Bangkok and Major Tourist Cities for Sustainable Real Estate Development

AssetWise reinforces its “GrowGreen” concept by joining forces with GMB, the manufacturer of TOA Gypsum, to elevate construction standards under the “Building a Green Future” project. This sustainable construction initiative has been awarded the Carbon Footprint of Products certification (Gold Label) by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) or TGO, for its use of innovative “Eco-Friendly Gypsum.” The initiative will be piloted across 7 condominium projects in Bangkok, the EEC, and Phuket, covering a total area of 177,350 sq.m. Compared to conventional products, this green material reduces greenhouse gas emissions by up to 63.74 TonCO2e, equivalent to planting 36.21 rai of teak trees per year.

Mr. Weerapan Wipanphong, Chief ESG Officer of AssetWise Public Company Limited (ASW), stated that the company is committed to elevating construction standards in alignment with its sustainability goals under the “GrowGreen” concept. Through the “Building a Green Future” project, the company prioritizes the selection of low-carbon construction materials to minimize environmental impacts. Most recently, AssetWise has utilized TGO-certified Carbon Footprint of Products (Gold Label) materials by incorporating innovative “TOA Gypsum” or eco-friendly gypsum boards across more than 177,350 square meters of condominium project areas. This highlights the company’s commitment to delivering quality housing that reduces carbon dioxide emissions and sustainably enhances the quality of life.
AssetWise and its subsidiary, Rhom Bho Property (TITLE), have spearheaded the implementation of TOA Gypsum’s eco-friendly innovation across condominiums in Bangkok, with expansion into major tourist destinations including Chonburi, Rayong, and Phuket. The 7 pilot projects comprise:
- Modiz Vault Kaset-Sripatum
- KAVALON
- ATMOZ Palacio Ladprao Wanghin
- Aquarous Jomtien Pattaya
- ATMOZ Canvas Rayong
- Leisure Residences: THE TITLE Serenity Naiyang and THE TITLE Heritage Bangtao
This milestone is achieved through collaboration with three leading construction partners: Well Grade Engineering Public Company Limited, Wisavaphat Company Limited, and Jeerathana Construction Company Limited, uniting forces to make low-carbon construction standards a reality.
Mr. Supachai Hirunyanitiwatna, Chief Executive Officer of Gypsum Tech Company Limited, speaking on behalf of GM Builder (GMB)—the manufacturer and installer of TOA Gypsum products—added that the construction industry has entered an era where material selection must balance functional efficiency with environmental impacts. TOA is dedicated to developing green innovations in its gypsum product line, including TOA Gypsum Proboard (standard type) and TOA Gypsum Waterproof (moisture-resistant type). These products are designed to meet diverse construction needs, offering durability, health safety, and long-term environmental sustainability. This partnership with AssetWise and Rhom Bho Property marks a concrete application of eco-friendly materials in actual construction, tangibly upgrading condominium developments to be environmentally friendly both in Bangkok and other provinces.
The decision by AssetWise and Rhom Bho Property (TITLE) to utilize TOA’s carbon footprint-certified eco-friendly gypsum across these 7 residential projects helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 63.74 TonCO2e, equivalent to the annual carbon sequestration of 36.21 rai of teak trees. This represents another significant milestone in driving the Thai real estate sector toward low-carbon housing, creating a balanced growth that encompasses environmental, social, and economic dimensions for the long term.
