AssetWise has joined forces with its partners to provide urgent assistance to flood-affected communities in Hat Yai and nearby provinces in Southern Thailand. The support covers both immediate relief and long-term recovery. The company collaborated with Romphoo Property, a Phuket-based subsidiary, to distribute relief bags to local communities, and partnered with Pankan Shop to encourage residents and the public to donate clothing and educational supplies at 22 drop-off points across Bangkok and surrounding areas. Additionally, AssetWise is providing educational support through the Yuvabadhana Foundation.
Recognizing the extensive loss of essential household items in single-story homes, AssetWise has allocated a budget of 1,000,000 baht to prepare rice cookers, electric pans, and extension cords for 1,000 affected families, helping reduce financial burdens as they begin their post-flood recovery.
Mr. Wut Wiphanpong, Deputy Chief Sustainability Officer of AssetWise Public Company Limited (ASW), a leading property developer focused on lifestyle living under the concept “We Build Happiness,” stated that the company is deeply aware of the hardship caused by the severe flooding in Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, and other nearby areas in the South. As a result, AssetWise has mobilized its partners to deliver assistance through three key initiatives:
- Rapid Delivery of Relief Bags
AssetWise, together with Romphoo Property Public Company Limited (TITLE), its Phuket-based subsidiary and property developer, prepared and transported essential relief bags to flood-stricken communities in Hat Yai and nearby areas to ensure timely support. - Donation Campaign for Clothing and Educational Supplies
In cooperation with Pankan Shop, AssetWise invites residents, homeowners, and the general public to donate gently used clothing for men, women, and children, as well as educational materials. Donation points are located at AssetWise headquarters, project sale galleries, residential projects, and Pankan Shop branches at Mingle Mall, Bangkok University Rangsit, and Thammasat University Rangsit — totaling 22 locations across Bangkok and its vicinity.
All donated items will be carefully sorted and distributed to flood victims based on their needs. AssetWise is also encouraging financial contributions through the Yuvabadhana Foundation, with funds used to provide clothing and educational scholarships for children and youth in affected areas. - Support for Post-Flood Recovery Through Cooking Equipment
AssetWise has allocated a budget of 1,000,000 baht to distribute 1,000 sets of rice cookers, electric pans, and extension cords to impacted families. Many households in the affected areas live in single-story homes and have suffered significant losses, including essential living items and electrical systems. Cooking equipment is crucial for families to make use of donated food supplies and resume daily living more quickly, while also easing immediate financial pressures.
Mr. Wut further added that AssetWise continues to closely monitor the flood situation in the South and stands ready to collaborate with partners to provide ongoing support — both urgent aid and long-term recovery.
